TO060: Sugar Beet Traffic on the GE Section, LNER 1936 Season.
NEW JANUARY 2022. This 26-page special notice was issued by the LNER at Liverpool Street on 18th September 1936. It contains instructions for the working of sugar beet traffic over the whole of the GE Section during the coming season.
The first two pages specify the routes used to serve the various factories - Cantley, Bury, Wissington, Ely, Felstead, Sproughton, South Lynn, Spalding, Bardney, Fletton and Kelham (Newark).
The rest of the pages cover the region line-by-line, giving full details of altered workings and of all extra trains that were to be operated.
