SG059 Signalling Diagrams from the GER Blackwall branch
NEW SEPTEMBER 2017. The signalling diagrams have been hand-drawn by our late member John Bennett, in most cases from maps accompanying Board of Trade Reports produced after inspections which followed changes in the layout. These he consulted at the National Archives at Kew.
He was very happy to make them available to all who may be interested, and we are grateful for that.
There are six pages of diagrams. The locations featured and the dates represented are:-
Limehouse Junction signal box and Limehouse station (1907); West India Docks station and Bank Signal Box (1882); Millwall Junction Signal Box and station (1882); Poplar Junction and Poplar Docks Signal Boxes (1882 and 1907); Poplar station and Brunswick Junction Signal Box (1895); and Blackwall station (n.d.).
