SG052 Signalling of trains on the Chingford Branch 1905
NEW AUGUST 2015. This is the GER Signalling Instruction No. 80, dated 18 August 1905. It lays down special rules for the signalling of trains on the Chingford Branch. The signal boxes concerned are those at Hall Farm Junction, St James' Street, Hoe Street, Wood Street, Highams Park and Chingford.
Our signals specialist had only scans of the original document, a large poster, to work from. In order to preserve the unique and valuable information it contained and make it available to others, a transcript of it was made. To remain as faithful as possible to the layout of the original but to keep it manageable, it has been arranged on an A3 sheet. This is supplied in the file.
In addition, the same material is provided here on three separate A4 sheets which will be far more suitable for home printing.
This file will be available to download as soon as payment has been made. You go to your account and click on ‘Downloads’. New customers create an account as they place their order.
