NEW FEBRUARY 2016. The full title is 'No. 1 Supplement to the Sectional Appendix Southern Area dated 1 October 1972'. It bears the date 8 February 1975.
The Sectional Appendix itself amplifies the Railway's Rule Book - it applies it to specific locations on their network. A new edition of the Sectional Appendix was produced at intervals. In the meantime a series of supplements came out to provide updates. Some items were to be deleted and some amended, while many items were new.
