LM060: Holden's 0-6-0T Jubilee Tank Engines, with some Notes on their Work.
NEW JANUARY 2022. During 1945 the magazine 'Railways' produced a series of four articles entitled "The Holden 'Jubilee' Tank Locomotives of the GER, with some Notes on their Work". They were written by K A C R Nunn, and illustrated with several of his photographs.
The Jubilee tanks were Holden's 0-6-0T's, which were produced in several batches - such as classes T18 in 1883, E22 in 1889 and R24 in 1890. The survivors were designated as classes J65 to J69 by the LNER.
If you prefer you may instead purchase all twelve issues of 'Railways' for 1945. You will then get these articles, plus far more - for a mere 50p extra! You will find that option as file MG020: the quickest way to get there is to click on it in the 'related products' below.
