SG065 Colour Light Signalling from Bethnal Green to Enfield, LNER 1938
NEW JANUARY 2019. A Railway Gazette reprint from February 1938 entitled 'Bethnal Green to Enfield Colour Light Signalling, LNER.' It adds that "Much of the Bethnal Green-Enfield section carries exceedingly heavy traffic, the movement of which is greatly facilitated and made safer by the new installation. Also 17 signal boxes have been closed."
The 8-page article has card covers. It includes a diagrammatic map of the new signalling at Bethnal Green and the through route to Enfield (including Cambridge Heath, London Fields, Hackney Downs, Rectory Road, Stoke Newington, Stamford Hill, Seven Sisters Junction, Bruce Grove, White Hart Lane, Silver Street, Lower Edmonton and Bush Hill Park). There is also a separate map of the Hackney Downs to Clapton section of the Cambridge main line. Eight black-and-white photographs are present in the text.
