NEW JANUARY 2023.  In 1960 British Railways issued a multi-fold brochure designed to encourage passenger travel. On one side is a large map depicting the entire network and its shipping connections. This can be viewed by zooming in, but the resolution is not sufficient for printing out full size.

On the other side each fold contains information such as a detailed account of the different tickets on offer, various types of party travel, arrangements for luggage, a list of some of the principal named trains, seat reservations, Pullman cars, sleeping berths and on-board catering services.
