D33.CD Oil-burning Claud

  • D33.CD Oil-burning Claud

This is a CD which contains a scan of a contemporary drawing of a 'Claud Hamilton' locomotive illustrating how it was adapted for oil burning. It has a lefthand side view of the engine and tender and a front view of the engine.

If your intention is to view the drawing on-screen and zoom in to perhaps 75% or 100% on a chosen area to see the detail, you can achieve that more cheaply by downloading file LM026.

The CD does contain this same file, marked as 'For home viewing'. The original drawing was approximately 11 inches by 48 inches, however, and the CD also has a second much larger version of the file labelled 'For professional printing'. If you wish for a full-size paper copy, you should take the CD to a local printer and request a print-out from that file: it will require a sheet of paper longer than A0, which may then be trimmed down to size.

If you place an order for this item, the CD will be posted to you. A charge to cover postage and packing is added at the checkout before you commit yourself to buy.
