M&GN A tank 4-4-2 No 9 built and painted by John Hobden crosses the viaduct at East Runton.
M&GN 4-4-0 tank 20A pauses at Banningham West box on the Norfolk Joint Railway. The box was built by Nigel Digby and the loco built and painted by John Hobden.
At Banningham West Junction the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway meets the M&GN. The box was built by Nigel Digby and the GER tank and M&GN 4-4-0 Class C built and painted by John Hobden.
This 4-4-0 was built by Alan Summers and probably painted by Dave Studley. It is seen crossing the viaduct at East Runton.
M&GN Class A Beyer Peacock 4-4-0 built by Graham Wilson is seen at Overstrand on the late Deryck Featherstone’s Wingham Branch.
On the garden railway built by Bill Rankin in Wisbech we see the GER Y14 built by Alan Summers and painted by Dave Studley. The two GER vans are also Alan’s work.
David Bousfield has created a charming replica of Hadleigh Station and generously allows M&GN traffic onto the branch.
Posed at Overstrand on the late Deryck Featherstone’s Wingham Branch we see an ex-GCR O4 2-8-0 and an ex-LMS 'Black Five' 4-6-0.
An unusual rear view on the late Deryck Featherstone’s Wingham Branch shows M&GN locos built by Laurie Loveless.
Here M&GN locos have gathered at Bedon on the late Deryck Featherstone’s Wingham Branch. On the left the dark brown Beyer Peacock 4-4-0 was built and painted by Deryck while the other dark brown loco of the same class was built and painted by Graham Wilson. The M&GN Da Class and A Class 4-4-2 tank were built by Laurie Loveless.
The two 0-4-4 tanks built by Alan Summers. The 4-4-0 is also his construction. Both photographed on John Hobdens layout.
The Y14 John Hobden bought part built, believed to be from Alan Gibson kit. Come to your own conclusions about the blue then listen to Chris Smith’s talk about it at the GERS AGM a few years ago.
