Thurston (Suffolk) was created by Keith Barker (gocromwell)
Thurston was one of the Ely MRC clubs most successful layout ever & with its first visit to Norwich in 2000 it appeared at 41 exhibitions. It was awarded best layout 8 times *=12.0pt . It appeared in three railway magazines and much of the research was passed to the GERS in the form of any entry for Thurston in the A-Z series on stations. It had its own DVD and a You Tube presence. It was sold to a private owner at the end of 2015.
