Some views of the layout based on mid-fifties B.R eastern region, built to 7mm S7 standards, by the East Anglian Area of the S7Group.
The layout was built with the intention of exhibiting, apart from the loco yard bothy and water crane everything else is scratch built using traditional methods and materials such as casting and etching and new tech. in the form of 3D printing and laser cutting.
Rolling stock is a combination of members own stock built from kits and scratch built but also a few ready to run items.
The buildings are all based on prototypes from Chigwell station including the station masters house and a couple of shops that existed in our chosen period of the mid-fifties.
The layout is controlled by a DCC system with sound decoders fitted to the locomotives.
