Was the rear of a Claud tender c.1911 painted plain blue, or plain black?  Or, blue/black/vermillion lined as the tender sides?  Would be pleased to have confirmation of this, or a pointer as to where I can find the information.  Many thanks...

This is the Y14 on the NNR, my guess the Claud tender would be the same.

Paul, thank you for the photo of the Y14.  I have taken many photos of that loco over the years, but not one showing the rear end!  I shall paint the Claud's tender accordingly.
