RG018 Ely station reconstruction 1931
NEW MAY 2014. This is a copy of a five-page article from the January 1931 issue of the Railway Engineer. It is entitled 'Partial Reconstruction of Ely Station, L.N.E.R.' and goes on to say 'This Work includes the Reconstruction and Enlargement of the Down Platform and Buildings, and also the Rearrangement and Extension of the Goods Yard.'
There is a map of the layout in the immediate area of the station, a plan of the buildings on the down platform and ten photographs.
