TO067: Workings of Multiple Unit Sets and their Crews in the Liverpool Street Suburban Area, 1960.
NEW JANUARY 2023. This is a 350-page book produced by the Eastern Region of British Railways. It provides the working rosters for multiple unit sets and their crews in the Liverpool Street suburban area from 21 November 1960 (when the new electric services began) to 11 June 1961.
The units are both diesel and electric multiple units. Their crews are electric motormen, DMU drivers and guards. The lines covered are Liverpool Street to Chingford, to Enfield, to Bishop's Stortford and to Hertford East; Stratford to Cheshunt; and St Margarets to Buntingford.
Each category is split into sections dealing with Mondays to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. There is also a set of workings which operate when necessary to cover football specials for Tottenham Hotspur's home games.
We must thank our member Brain Hornsey for providing these scans. He sells very good hard-copies of a wide selection of steam-era working timetables which you may find of interest. His website is to be found at http://wttreprints.uk/ which you can visit HERE.
